123.  Certain persons to be public servants.—

Every person appointed under this Act and every Member *The words “and every Member of the Appellate Board” omitted by Act 33 of 2021, s. 21 (w.e.f. 4-4-2021) shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860).
